LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - With his rushing record out of the way, Michael Dyer has two big games coming up to end the regular season.
Dyer and Little Rock Christian of Class 5A play at Magnolia this week, then host Pulaski Academy, which is ranked No. 4 in 5A. Last week, Dyer broke the career mark of 7,122 yards rushing held by Vernon Hicks of Elaine.
Dyer almost broke the record the previous week but fell just short. He surpassed Hicks on his fourth carry Friday night, a 22-yard touchdown run. He ran for 175 yards, bringing his career total to 7,266.
