JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities in Gibson County have charged two teenagers in the weekend shooting death of a man in a back yard.
The Jackson Sun reported the arrest of Colton A. Reed of Milan and Zachary Ward of Dyer - both 19 years-old. Reed is held on charges of second-degree murder and reckless endangerment. Ward is charged with being an accessory after the fact of second-degree murder.
Sheriff Chuck Arnold stated his office received a call early Sunday and deputies found Joseph Burnett has been fatally shot at his home.
Authorities said several men had gathered to watch a fight between Ward and another man he had an ongoing disagreement with.
Deputies said Reed shot Burnett after the two of them began arguing.
