MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Traffic on 1-40 stood still for three hours Saturday following a deadly three-car crash.
The accident happened near Chelsea Avenue just before 7:00 a.m..
Memphis police said the driver of a Dodge Stratus drove into oncoming traffic and collided with two other cars.
The driver of the Stratus was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another driver was transported to The Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The third driver was not injured.
