Associated Press - November 20, 2009 4:15 AM ET

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Salaried employees at DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee Inc. will have their pay cuts restored in January.

Last February, DENSO announced a salary cut of 5 percent for its salaried work force. Vice presidents and above received a 10 percent cut.

In July, hourly employees returned to a 40-hour work schedule at DENSO's Maryville plants - up from a low of 32 hours.

According to The Daily Times, company officials said DENSO has increased its production as the automotive industry restores its dwindling inventories.

DENSO manufactures electrical automotive and electronic control products, fuel management systems and meters - including starters, alternators, instrument clusters and center displays _at its Maryville facilities.
