GREENWOOD, Miss. (AP) - The Leflore County Board of Supervisors voted to move forward on a $2.3 million bond issue that was voted down in a Nov. 9 meeting.
District 5 Supervisor Robert Collins requested on Monday that the bond issue be placed on the agenda. The board voted to move forward on it.
County Administrator Sam Abraham said most of the bond will be used for roads and bridges, but determining over the long term which projects will need attention first is impossible.
Abraham told The Greenwood Commonwealth there are some projects in mind that could use bond money, but much it would be spent as needs arise.
