WMC-TV 5 - Memphis, TNYouTube video depicts possible Mid-South fight club

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A video posted recently on YouTube is raising eyebrows because of its possible connection to an alleged Mid-South fight club.
The video, posted to YouTube on November 21, depicts a group on young people inside what appears to be a garage. At is begins, one participant in a possible fight club offers a handshake to another. As a group of people circling the pair watches, fists begin to fly.
Ultimately, the scene in the garage escalates into an all-out brawl with multiple participants, but there is no way to tell how old the people involved are, when the video was shot, or if it's even recent.

Sources in Collierville say the video is connected to the so-called, highly-controversial and often-disputed "Collierville Fight Club" that sent 28 high schoolers to juvenile court and three others to the Shelby County Criminal Justice Center. Parents of those high schoolers have adamantly denied any type of "fight club."
Monday, a spokesperson for the city of Collierville said police would review the YouTube video out of curiosity, but investigators have received no complaints and have no indication of any type of organized, pre-scheduled fights since the early September arrests.
In fact, the YouTube describes itself as a "Cordova Garage Brawl." Comments posted not only include laughter, but references to Memphis boys and, "Marshall County representing."
Officials said neither Memphis police nor Shelby County Sheriff's Deputies have received any complaints about this situation. Without them, they would not launch any criminal investigation.
