FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Officials say a dispute over drug dealing is what led to the deaths of 3 women, a man, a toddler and an unborn baby last October. CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Volkswagen says the 250,000th Passat midsize sedan has rolled off the assembly line at its plant in Chattanooga. The milestone comes little more than two years since production began at the Tennessee plant.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners has reprimanded Rep. Scott DesJarlais for having sex with patients before he was elected to Congress. DesJarlais is a licensed physician. The Republican from Tennessee won re-election last year despite revelations that he had affairs with patients and once urged 1 of them to seek an abortion.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Medal of Honor recipient Vernon McGarity has died at age 91 in Tennessee. A spokeswoman for Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery says McGarity, a World War II Army squad leader, died of cancer Tuesday night in Memphis. President Harry Truman awarded him the Medal of Honor in October 1945.
