A Nashville police report reveals State Senator Ophelia Ford spent five hours at the Wild horse Saloon in Nashville with friends on Tuesday night and then, according to the account of a cab driver, assaulted him at her hotel.
The report says the cab driver who picked up her and a female up said she "was intoxicated and was brought out to the cab under a blanket to keep the media from seeing her."
The driver also said Ford slapped him and grabbed the back of his shirt and ripped a button when he helped her to her hotel room.
Ford's brother Shelby County Commissioner Joe Ford, told Action News Five if his sister doesn't return to Memphis today someone from her family will go to retrieve her.
Ophelia Ford, in this exclusive interview, said she's not returning from Nashville today.
