Teen accused of pinning woman against wall with car

Updated:

RIDGELY, Tenn. (AP) - A West Tennessee teenager has been charged with first-degree murder after being accused of driving her car into a woman and pinning her against a wall.

Police say 18-year-old Latandria Kimble killed 24-year-old Andrea Pierce by ramming her against the wall of a carport on Sunday at the victim's apartment in Ridgely.

Witnesses and family members told the State Gazette in Dyersburg that the victim had become involved in a romantic dispute between the suspect and a 17-year-old teenager.

Kimble is also accused of injuring the other teenager in a fight before the fatal incident.

Kimble was being held without bond in the Lake County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court March 12 for a preliminary hearing.
