LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton has talked to two busloads of schoolchildren about his presidency and issues around the world during a visit to his library.
The children from Gibbs International Magnet School and Bale Elementary in Little Rock didn't know they would see Clinton while on their field trip Friday.
Clinton was still in Little Rock after marking the fifth anniversary of his library's opening during a ceremony on Wednesday.
Art teacher Susan Purvis, whose husband Joe went to kindergarten with Clinton, says she was impressed with how Clinton captivated the children's attention.
She says Clinton spoke in a low voice on a variety of topics to the rapt audience of youngsters.
