MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police say they know who pulled the trigger in the Thursday murder of a Memphis teen, but so far no one has been charged.

Friday afternoon, a blood stained window outside her home was a reminder of the 18-year-old woman known by neighbors as Porsha, who was gunned down around 10:00 p.m. Thursday.

Police are questioning a 20-year-man, but won't say whether or not it is the victim's live-in boyfriend, a man who said 'hello' to neighbor to Lakesia Jones when she got home from work Thursday night.

Chaos erupted moments later.

"I sat down, looked at the TV a little bit," Jones said. "(I heard) gunshots, and after that police were all around."

A neighbor at the apartment complex brought the victim to a fire station on Chelsea, but one was able to save her.

Action News 5 attempted to talk to the person who tried to save her, but no one came to the door.  Meanwhile, residents too afraid to talk on camera said they saw the victim and a man physically fighting outside the apartment just days ago.

No matter who is charged with the crime, neighbors say no argument should end in murder.

"Just stay prayerful because at any time your life can be taken," Jones said, "And hope that when your time comes that you're ready, and it's not as brutal as that was, you know?"

Police have not officially named the victim or the suspect in this case.
