JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - The vehicles used to travel the highways of old, centuries ago, will be the focus of an archeologists' meeting at Jonesboro.
Those highways were rivers, and the vehicles were dugout canoes. They will be the topic of a presentation at the Central Mississippi Valley Archeological Society meeting on Tuesday in the Arkansas State University Museum.
The program by Jeffrey Mitchem of the Arkansas Archeological Survey is to start at 7 p.m.
