MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - The aunt of a three-year-old boy killed in a fire earlier this week was arrested Tuesday night for failing to show up in court.

Marilyn Wilson was arrested Tuesday on warrants for crimes dating back to 2006, including theft and driving on a suspended license.  Wilson told the judge Wednesday that she does have a job. She was assigned a public defender, and bond was set for $2,500 for each charge against her.

Wilson was in the news earlier this week when her three-year-old nephew died after a fire broke out inside a home she and his mother left him alone in. Wilson's two-year-old nephew was also seriously injured in the blaze.

Wilson attracted attention when she showed little remorse over leaving the children alone in an interview recorded shortly after the fire.

You can watch that interview in the video player on this page.

In an interview Tuesday night, family member Andrea Burnside said Wilson suffers from drug addictions and has mental problems.
