This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to James R. Jones. Jones thinks Memphis City Council member Janis Fullilove got off too easy after pleading guilty this month to a pair of driving charges.

In Jones' words:

Once again a small time politician has used their (Get Out Of Jail Free Card) to do just that.  Get out of jail.  Had any of the good citizens of West Tennessee committed the infractions Janis Fullilove committed, the law would have come down hard on them.  What makes Ms. Fullilove so special?  How long would you or I be incarcerated if we had committed these acts? In my humble opinion, Judge Paula Skahan made a stupid decision by being so lenient with her judgment for Ms. Fullilove.  We have not heard the last from Councilwoman Fullilove.  There will be more. Stay tuned.

That's James R. Jones' turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
