YOUR TURN: Action News 5 is barking up the wrong tree

Updated:

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Jan Courtney. Courtney is upset about two recent stories on Action News 5 involving animals.

In her words:

With all that is going on in our community related to animal abuse, I do not know why Channel 5 would choose to spotlight two stories that depict even more animal abuse.  The news story about the surgery for barking dogs was inappropriate. There are probably going to be a few irresponsible dog owners who will choose that route versus trying to get their family pet the training they need to stop the barking. I believe it's now Channel 5's turn to air something good that's happening in our community regarding animals and how we can be more responsible pet owners.

That's Jan Courtney's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
