YOUR TURN: She's shouting her opinion

Posted: Updated:

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Becky Meyers. Meyers is one of several people who wrote us because they were upset about the news story examining a controversial surgical procedure to keep dogs from barking.

In Meyers' words:

I keep my opinions to myself, but in the case of the debarking procedure, I feel compelled to SHOUT MY OPINION. What if I have neighbors who constantly produce noises that I find irritating? Can I have their tongues removed so their only means of communication is taken away? How cruel has society become? People who condone this should visit a surgeon on their way home from the vet and have the same procedure done and see how they like it. Or better yet, let the same vet do it to the pet owners. People who condone this surgery don't deserve pets in the first place.  Now then, I feel better.

That's Becky Meyers' turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
