YOUR TURN: Proud to be a Memphian

Updated: Oct 31, 2010 09:06 AM
MEMPHIS, TN -

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Eric Schupp. Schupp is thrilled about the new Shelby Farms Greenline, the jogging and biking trail that runs from Shelby Farms to Midtown.

In Schupp's words:

I relocated to Memphis 10 years ago and grew to love the culture and creativity of our exceptional city despite its limited cycling options. When the Greenline opened this month, giving me a safe and direct route to ride to my workplace, I was ecstatic. But I was even more moved after using the Greenline several times and seeing the many diverse faces of its users greeting one another with smiles. It has reinforced my belief that we are one city, rich with common culture and values. Kudos to all involved in our city's progress. I am proud to be a Memphian today.

That's Eric Schupp's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
