YOUR TURN: Tippah County's fallen officer

Updated: Dec 12, 2010 08:59 AM
TIPPAH COUNTY, MS -

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Katlin Harris. Harris wrote to thank us for the news coverage and fund raising drive for the fallen officer in Tippah County, Mississippi.

In her words:

I would personally like to express my great appreciation for the support you have shown Tippah County during this trying time. Deputy Dwayne Crenshaw served our county, as well as our country, for many years. He deserves more respect and admiration than anyone I know. Thanks to Action News 5 and their quick response to this crisis, Deputy Crenshaw gained the recognition that he deserved. He left behind a wife and son, as well as a lasting memory on Tippah County. Death is always a terrible thing to bear, but Deputy Crenshaw did not die in vain. He will be in the hearts of everyone he served forever.

That's Katlin Harris's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
