MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - The head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies played Santa to hundreds of Mid-South children Sunday.
Lionel Hollins Charities sponsored the Bike Buddies Extravaganza at the Mid-South Fairgrounds.
Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph was on hand to help spread some Christmas cheer as "Z-Bo Claus."
Nearly 100 children received a new bike, a helmet and a lock.
"We're all part of the same community," said Hollins, "and we need to take care of everybody in the best way we can."
In addition to the new bikes, needy families also received a basket of food from the Mid-South Food Bank.
