Our favorite story of the week – the unidentified mystery man who was handing out $50 bills at the Goodwill store on East Shelby Drive in Memphis. The man popped into Goodwill unannounced, handed out envelopes with $50 bills inside and left. The recipients were stunned, but thrilled.

That's just one of many, many acts of kindness that we've heard about this Christmas season. Toy drives, food drives, angel trees and all the other ways Christmas motivates us to think about others who are less fortunate.

We certainly want to thank all of you who participated in the Action News 5 Holiday Food Drive again this year. Due to your generosity, we were able to collect 70,000 pounds of food and more than $30,000 to help supply the shelves at the Mid-South Food Bank. That will go a long way toward assisting families who are down on their luck this holiday season.

From all of us here at WMC-TV 5, we wish you and yours "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays."

That's my turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
