YOUR TURN: They need to light a fire

Updated: July 10, 2011 02:42 PM
MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Chuk Cole. Cole is unhappy with the construction progress on the work being done on the interchange at Interstate 55 and Mallory Road. The project also includes widening Interstate 55 to three lanes in both directions. Cole says it's taking too long.

In his words:

I believe it has been three years, maybe four, since workers started the Interstate 55 at Mallory Road project.  I travel on the road a lot and most projects around the country don't take this long and to only be barely past halfway seems ridiculous.  Is there an expected finish date?  Have they run into trouble?  What's the hold up?  This is a dangerous section of highway.  It's getting nowhere.  Light a fire.

That's Chuk Cole's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
