(WMC-TV) – This week's "Your Turn" segment comes from the Action News 5 Facebook page where people are reacting to the story about the California women arrested in Fayette County, TN, for animal cruelty.

The women were transporting more than a hundred dogs in a U-Haul van. We chose a comment from Gina Carmack-McBroom. In her words:

"I think that these women had very good intentions and were doing the best they could to get these animals to a better place. Does anyone else have a good suggestion as to how they were to transport these dogs? If the weather had been hot or too cold, I would say they should be punished. That is cruel, but honestly could they have let all those dogs out to exercise and get fresh air? They would have never gotten them all back in the van. I hope the dogs find good homes and hope that the overzealous district attorney lays off a little."

That's Gina Carmack-McBroom's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
