MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Memphis police arrested two adults and four teenagers for breaking into a high school and stealing dozens of computers.

According to an affidavit of complaint, on February 16 between 7:55 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., Hamilton High School was burglarized.  Entry was gained by forcing open a door adjacent to the main building.

Three Apple laptop computers valued at $2,200 were taken.

Deontay Rogers, 21, was caught on school surveillance along with two students, ages 16 and 17.

Rogers told police the computers were sold to Aguduaus Osbourne, also known as "Main Man," for $100 worth of marijuana the same night of the burglary.

"Police need to patrol the school areas more often than they do I think," said neighbor Sherwin McDonald.

A similar incident happened at Hamilton High School again on February 18 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.  Six Apple desktop computer, five Dymo label makers, 12 wireless headsets, and two Apple laptop computers worth $23,000 were stolen.

Rogers told police that he, another 16-year-old student, and a 15-year-old who is not a student again sold the computer for $100 worth of marijuana.

According to Memphis City Schools, the three students involved have been expelled.
