The Tennessee Department of Agriculture inspects service stations in the unincorporated areas of Shelby County:

Include:
* Name and address of establishment, including city/town
* Description of problem
* Pump # or physical location of pump
* Grade of fuel
* Location of scale if complaint concerns a scale
As of May 8, the Weights & Measures Bureau has inspected 96 of the city's 351 gas stations, a total of 3,189 pumps.
According to inspection records, the bureau has cited 41 stations with violations and rejected 218 fuel dispensers.
