(WMC-TV) – Action News 5's Janice Broach will take you to a church service Monday night, where the sermon is mixed with serpents.

Janice will pull the curtain back on a new generation of snake-handling Christians.

You'll see the devotion, the danger, and the defiance of state laws that prohibit this type of worship.

"The Lord said ‘Thou shall take up serpents.' If there was a law that came against this world that said ‘You cannot praise God or read your Bible,' there would still be somebody that would read their Bible," said the pastor of the church.

You can get a sneak peek at the story by taking a look at this slideshow!

It's a story you have to see to believe. 'Snakes and Sinners' will air Monday night on the Action News 5 at 10 p.m.
