
CORINTH, Miss. (AP) - The Corinth Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has approved more than $2,600 in funding for local organizations to help promote upcoming events.
The Daily Corinthian reports (http://bit.ly/NmZp5u ) the largest sponsorship went to Corinth Theatre-Arts.
The board approved $2,176 to help the theater company pay for radio advertising, a newspaper magazine supplement and visitors guide advertising expenses.
Corinth Theatre-Arts' first production of the season, "Footloose," opens Aug. 3.
