Jerry Lard trial reveals officer begged for his life before being shot

TRUMANN, AR -

(WMC-TV) – New details are emerging out of the Jerry Lard trial Tuesday morning.

Lard's defense team admitted in court that Trumann, Arkansas police officer Jonathan Schmidt died at Lard's hands.

And a key witness testified that Officer Schmidt begged Lard for his life.
