(WMC-TV) - An overnight home invasion left two men dead.
Two young men, both in their 20s, were found shot to death inside a home on East Yates in East Memphis – just off Walnut Grove.
Memphis police originally were called to this home on Yates Road for reports of a home invasion around 12:15 Thursday morning.
When investigators arrived, they found the two men dead inside the basement.
That is where the mystery begins. At this time, many of the details have not yet been released.
We do not know who these men were, if they lived at the home, or if they were a part of the home invasion call.
Police also are not saying if anyone else was inside the home at the time.
No one is in custody, and investigators are hunting for any clues that can help them identify these men.
