This week's "Your Turn" segment comes from the Action News 5 Facebook page where people are bickering over the implications of this week's vote to create suburban school districts in Shelby County. A lot of the debate might be better suited for a playground, but there were a few thoughtful comments. We chose one from Donna Ammons. In her words:
"Is it possible that while we bicker about taxes, surrendered charters, and all the politics, and poke at each other making not so subtle insults that our focus shifts from the issue at hand? Remember the children? Until they are the focus of our time, attention, funds, policies, and priorities, we are right where we started."
