YOUR TURN: Ice cream truck citation

Posted: Updated:

This week's "Your Turn" segment comes from the Action News 5 Facebook page where people are coming to the defense of the ice cream truck driver who was charged with violating the noise ordinance in Horn Lake, Mississippi. Most people writing online think the police overstepped on this one. We chose a comment from Rosetta O'Kelly. In her words:

"This is totally crazy. It's the ice cream man. You're supposed to be able to hear him in the house and over your TV. I live in Horn Lake and he's been through my neighborhood. Yes, it was a little loud, but not that loud. I love the ice cream man, reminds me of my childhood and they would have never given our ice cream man a citation. Give him a warning and tell him to turn it down. I guess I better keep my Bob Seger turned down in my car. But really, give the guy a break. He's the ice cream man."

That's Rosetta O'Kelly's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
