Local boy chosen to attend dinner at The White House

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – The White House will host a state dinner Monday, and one lucky Mid-South 10-year-old boy will be there.

First lady Michelle Obama will welcome 54 children to the White House and host the first ever Kids State Dinner.

The children were selected after submitting their favorite healthy lunch recipes in the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.

The Commercial Appeal reports Logan Guleff, who is from Memphis, will be there. We first introduced you to him when he competed in the "Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest."

He was chosen for the Kids State Dinner because his tuna-quinoa schooners.
