KNOXVILLE, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Today, The University of Tennessee's Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity has been suspended indefinitely. And members have nine days to vacate the chapter's house.

This comes after 12 students were cited and the Pike House was suspended after a weekend incident involving underage drinking, and a near-death experience.

The chapter was suspended after members gave each other alcohol enemas.

Investigators say 20-year-old Alexander Broughton of Memphis was dropped off at UT Medical Center early Saturday morning in critical condition and unresponsive.

Officials say his blood alcohol content level was greater than .4, which is considered toxic and potentially deadly.

The chapter might be allowed to return to the campus in the spring semester of 2015 - if the University chooses to allow it.
