ALAMO, Tenn. (AP) - Investigators in western Tennessee say the slaying of a Crockett County man may have stemmed from a home robbery and be related to another burglary in the area.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Kristin Helm told The Jackson Sun (http://bit.ly/WyRF6g ) that generally home burglaries come in clusters, leading investigators to think 40-year-old Matt McKnight's death may be tied to another break-in.
McKnight was found dead at his home in Alamo Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff's Sgt. Robert Howell says McKnight died from a gunshot wound.
