WEST MEMPHIS, AR -

(WMC-TV) – As a result of the fungal meningitis outbreak, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is expanding its investigation to include other pharmaceutical compounding companies, in addition to the New England Compounding Center (NECC).

The New England Compounding Center is said to be the source of the outbreak that affected people in several states. All of its products were recalled after the outbreak.

Based on findings from the FDA investigation, Ameridose, LLC, out of Westborough, Massachusetts, is conducting a voluntary recall of any unexpired products.

As of right now, officials say there are no reported human illnesses associated with any Ameridose products.
