MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Investigators are offering a reward for information after a Memphis woman's bound was found in an Arkansas ditch.

The car Daisy Taylor was reportedly driving was found on fire in Memphis.

Christopher Jones was at home last Friday when he heard the large explosion outside his door.

"I looked out the window and I just saw a car was ablaze and when I was going toward my kitchen door I heard it explode at least one more time," said Jones.

Memphis police say that fire was deliberately set. And the car belonged to 56-year-old Daisy Taylor of Memphis.

But Taylor was not in her vehicle. She had been shot to death and her body had already been dumped in a ditch near Marion Arkansas.

Arkansas investigators say Taylor spoke to a family member around 10 a.m. on Friday, November 2. At 11:06 a.m., a county road worker reported her body to the sheriff's department.

A short time later, Taylor's 2012 Gold Chevy Impala was found in Memphis at the intersection of Crump Boulevard and Mason Street. It was on fire, destroying all physical evidence inside.

Arkansas investigators think whoever had Taylor's car may have killed her and used her vehicle to drive the body to Arkansas. But so far, there is no motive, no suspect, and no clues.

Crittenden County Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information to contact them at 870-732-4444.
