
(WMC-TV) - Something had to give when the defending champs came to town to face the Grizzlies.
Both Memphis and Miami coming into the night winners of 4-straight.
Only one can leave with a 5th straight victory, and it was the good guys.
In front of a sellout crowd, the Grizzlies sent Lebron James and the Heat packing, winning 104-86.
The Grizzlies began the game on a 10-2 run, and never trailed, getting a career high 7-three pointers and career high 25 points from reserve Wayne Ellington in the win.
Zach Randolph recorded his sixth double-double with 18-points and 12 rebounds, and Rudy Gay added 21.
Chris Bosh led Miami with 22 points and James finished with 20 for the Heat.
The Grizzlies extend their franchise-record home winning streak to 14 dating to last season.
Memphis travels to Oklahoma City Wednesday, before returning home Friday to face the Knicks.
