KnowledgeVision Systems, the leader in online presentation technology, has released new features that will let users of Marketo’s marketing software measure, record, and act on viewer engagement with online presentations at an unprecedented level of detail. Together, KnowledgeVision and Marketo help marketers engage prospective buyers in an interactive multimedia experience. Based on how those viewers interact with the online presentation content, Marketo can trigger marketing and sales follow-up actions.
As KnowledgeVision presentations are viewed, a feature called KVTrack records detailed clicksteam information on who’s viewing, for how long, in what parts of the presentation, and what reference links they’ve clicked. From the clickstream, KVTrack calculates an Engagement Score that indicates the level of interest and interaction with the content. Depending on engagement score, Marketo can instantly trigger a variety of actions, including: sending follow-up materials, notifying a sales representative; and changing that prospect’s lead score.
