One person injured in large house fire

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – One person was injured in a large house fire in Shelby County.

The fire started on the 4800 block of Walden Glen Cove, near Egypt Central Road.

Firefighters from Shelby County and Millington are working to put out the flames.

Action News 5 is told the person injured was a neighbor trying to help the homeowner in some way. We do not know the extent of the person's injuries.
