MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC-TV) - Two men have been charged in a double shooting outside a South Memphis shopping center that sent a man and a woman to The MED Saturday afternoon.
The preliminary investigationrevealed that the victims were sitting in their vehicle when they were approached by two suspects.
One of the suspects attempted to talk with the victims at which time the victims began to drive away.
One of the suspects then pulled out a handgun and shot the victims.
After the victims where shot, the driver ran the car into a pole.
Both victims were immediately transported to The MED where the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries but the man was said to be critically wounded.
Officers searched the area and located one of the suspects which was later identified as 23-year-old Dante Hence.
Hence was arrested and charged with two counts of facilitation of second degree murder.
The second suspect later turned himself in to officers at Union Station.
20-year-old Devon Carlock was arrested and charged with two counts second degree murder and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
The intentions of the shooting are unknown at this time.
