(WMC-TV) – A 17-year-old is charged with the robbery, murder, and burning of an elderly woman in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Nathaniel Roberson, Junior is charged with robbery and capital murder.

Ethel Lewis, 80, was found dead in her home Saturday. Her body was on fire.

Clarksdale police say they found Roberson driving the woman's stolen vehicle. He was captured about 45 minutes away in Ruleville.

Investigators say the crime happened in broad daylight.

Roberson will be charged as an adult and will be held without bond.

This is the second crime in recent months against the elderly in Clarksdale. Shirley Gordon, 77, was beaten with a piece of concrete and robbed outside her home. A 14-year-old is charged with that crime.
