Slain officer's children reunite with father

Posted: Updated:
MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – After days of being in the middle of a custody dispute, the children of fallen Memphis police officer Martoiya Lang are now allowed to be with their father.

Her four daughters, ages 14, 13, 12 and 2-years-old, were surrendered to their father, Darius Lang on Wednesday.

According to the Commercial Appeal, police say the Department of Human Services had been investigating the situation after the father reported the children missing when they did not attend their mother's funeral.

The paper also reports that the grandmother intentionally kept the kids away from their father and the funeral.
