(WMC-TV) – Students at Sandy Hook Elementary will be returning to school in a nearby town later in the week. And as they prepare for a return, new details about a lawsuit emerge.

The attorney, who filed a $100 million lawsuit against the state of Connecticut on behalf of a 6-year-old girl who survived the shooting at Sandy Hook, has now dropped the suit.

Irving Pinsky says he is not only evaluating new evidence. But he is also getting heavy backlash over the lawsuit. He says he has received hundreds of death threats.
