MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC-TV) – Police say the man arrested for the murder of a man found in a trunk confessed to the crime.
According to a police affidavit, Mykel Lewis Nolan admitted to shooting 22-year-old Bryan Henderson, putting his body in the trunk of his own car, and driving it to Goodhaven Street where he abandoned the vehicle.
Nolan is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning on a second degree murder charge.
Henderson's body was found Wednesday, but investigators believe he was killed Sunday. Neighbors say the car had been parked near the intersection of Goodhaven Street and Airways Boulevard for three days.
Nolan is being held behind bars on a $5 million bond.
