Man on the run after allegedly setting police car on fire

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Police arrested a 15-year-old on scene, and now they believe his father was involved too.

But, he's proven to be a man who's difficult to track down.

Issac Porterfield is a wanted man, and is facing charges from a bizarre New Year's morning.

On which a Memphis police cruiser that was stolen, then burned — and the shotgun from inside is still missing.

Police have been hot on the trail all day.

Mid-day, a tip was sent them to East Demster, but a search of the house turned up nothing.

While still on scene, new information about a possible Porterfield sighting was received which sent police racing away.

That's where they handcuffed one man, but quickly let him go when they realized he was innocent.

Action News 5 crews stopped by the address listed on Porterfield's arrest warrant.

Instantly, it did not go well.

Crews were told to leave the property immediately with the home owner shouting vulgarities.

No one has yet to track down Porterfield, the wanted man remains on the loose.
