Rescuers search river for missing police officer

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Search crews will return to the Saint Francis River Monday morning to search for missing Wynne, Arkansas police officer, Nicholas Swink.

Swink fell into the Saint Francis River around 10:30 Friday night.

Since then, rescuers from Cross County and Saint Francis County have searched the waters for the missing officer.

Officer Swink was off-duty when he fell into the river.

The 24-year-old was about to start working as an auxiliary deputy at the Cross County Sheriff's Office.
