Conference USA has named Memphis Tigers forward Shaq Goodwin as its Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.
He also earned the Honor December 10th.
The 6-foot-9, 246-pound forward from Atlanta helped lead the Tigers to a 2-0 C-USA record with victories over East Carolina, 67-54, and UAB, 69-53.
In the two wins, Goodwin averaged 11.0 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 56.3 percent from the field.
The Tigers, now 12-3 overall, return to action Wednesday night at Rice.
