HARDEMAN COUNTY, TN -

(WMC-TV) -  A man was airlifted to The MED Friday morning after a train hit the back of his truck.

Jack Davidson was ejected from his truck and landed in mud nearby his vehicle, according to The Bulletin Times.

Witnesses and investigators said he was up walking around and talking but was upset at the scene.

He was transported to The MED because of being worried about internal injuries due to being thrown out of the truck, and he was badly cut up from the glass.

Davidson almost missed the train and spun the truck around and off the road.

Witness on the scene said he never slowed down or appeared to show any signs of seeing the train coming.

The wreck happened on Fritton Spur Road between Grand Junction and Middleton.
