Injured driver flees scene of crash

(WMC-TV) - Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash eastbound I-240 near Getwell involving a gold pickup truck that overturned Saturday evening.

The injured male driver fled the scene on foot, but was captured a short distance away by police.

It is unknown at this time why the driver ran.

An ambulance was called to the scene and transported the male to The MED in critical condition.

Traffic is moving.
