MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – One man is at The MED and another man is dead after a shooting just after midnight.

Neighbors said they are fed up with the violence.

Flashing blue lights filled the streets as an ambulance and detectives arrived in a north Memphis neighborhood after two people were shot.

The light of day shows some of the yellow crime scene tape on a fence where it happened on Crockett near Keel.

Most neighbors didn't want to talk about the shooting.

Bryan Freeman said unfortunately guns shots and violence are common here.

"You just got to look out for everything, you know what I'm saying? It's crazy out here, that's why I just stay in the house and just stick to myself," he said.

Freeman said he does not know the people involved in the shooting. He said he wishes all of the violence would stop.

According to police, three men were inside the home when three more men came in.

Three suspects and a third witness took off. There was a helicopter search, but they were not found.

Police have not yet identified the victims in the shooting or a motive.
