(WMC-TV) - Action News 5 is proud to announce that our live newscasts can now be viewed on our mobile news app.
Live streams of our newscasts can be now found on the Action News 5 apps for iPhone and iPad.
The live streaming will work on various Android platforms if the phone is HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) capable.
If you have not yet downloaded our free mobile app, you can do so right now by searching 'Action News 5' in your smartphone or tablet's app store.
Once the application is downloaded, you will see a banner on the app that reads "CLICK HERE for regularly scheduled newscasts". Depending on which app you are using (smartphone or tablet), the banner could appear at the top of the app or at the bottom.
Click on that banner and the video player will load. Keep in mind, the stream will only play during our regular scheduled newscasts.
